My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy Ann is a senior Shih Tzu mix that has retired from her life as a former breeding dog. She has been spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. Missy Ann being an older dog has a couple of issues that requires medication. Missy Ann has a heart issue that requires she take a daily heart pill. She also needs drops for her eyes due to them being dry. Missy Ann’s eyes were neglected for a long time so she suffers from partial vision loss. We think she can see shadows. She seems to get around well, but will need assistance with steps since she can’t see the bottom. Missy enjoys cuddling on the couch and snuggling under the blankets. Her foster family lets her sleep in the bed at night. Missy Ann likes to lay her head on her person’s chest while she sleeps. Missy Ann is working on housebreaking and does well if you take her outside and stay with her when she goes potty. She gets along with other dogs. She has not been cat tested however, she doesn’t seem to have the desire to chase or be mean spirited so we feel like she would do fine with them. Missy Ann is looking for her forever home to retire and live the good life, so give this senior girl a chance and you won’t regret it.
