Baby's Info...

Baby's Story...
Baby and Mama were surrendered to us on Dec 17, 2016; Baby is approx 6 months old and Mama's age is unknown (but presumably younger).

Both Mama and Baby have had litters; Mama came to us with Baby and two of her sons... Little did we know both Baby and Mama were pregnant when we took them in. They had (3) boys between them that have all been adopted.

The girls would really love to stay together; they are social animals and enjoy being with each other, however we do not believe they will integrate well with other guinea pigs. There's a chance they could bond with very young baby pigs.

The girls are friendly and come to the side of the cage to beg for treats (veggies), however they are runners when you try to pick them up. They can be vocal, especially when it's food time!

$30 Fee - Guinea Pigs ONLY.

$85 Fee - "Starter package" including: a Midwest Guinea Pig Habitat (24" x 47" x 14"), Gravity Feeder, Hay Rack, 16 oz No Drip Water Bottle, Cuddle-E-Cup, 48 oz Timothy Hay, and 5 lb. Pellet Food. (It is recommended to attach another Midwest Cage to allow for optimal room for (2) GP)

Note: If you would like assistance with building your own custom C&C cage, please inquire and we would be happy to help you build it (locally).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby, a Aurora Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
