My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peterson is a neutered male Flemish Giant. He is is thought to be about a year or under (posted 10-1-16) He is outgoing kind and loving. He does well with others and his best buddy he likes to hang out with is a therapy chicken named Little Chick. He also has been with rabbit experienced and friendly dogs and does fine. He is well behaved and has huge potential to be an amazing bunny for a experienced rabbit house hold. He has learned to use a litter box and keeps his play area pretty clean for a big bunny boy. He uses a tradition wired bottom cage 24 x4 with a tray for eating and his potty area. Though RED does not usually advise wire bottom cages for comfort this is just in use as his potty and snak area. So far this seems to be his preferred litter box and has not had any interest in a traditional cat style box. The advantage of this is hay etc does not make a big mess. His area is 8 foot by 8 foot with this set inside and he just pops in as needed. The 8 foot square area can be adjusted down to what works for the adopters space but must give him enough room to be happy. He loves treat and enjoys company. Proof of a RED approved habitat and household is required. Our application is at www.rescueeverydog.org Rabbit Adoption donations are generally a minimum of 95.00. Why are RED Rabbit donations 95.00? This is a donation to support RED's life saving mission. You are not buying a rabbit you are adopting a life. RED loses money on every rabbit adoption due to vet neutering costs and care cost so please don't ask for a donation break or why a rabbit is 95.00. RED must cover some of these costs to help ther animals who are waiting for help. Rabbits require quality food and care and are not a inexpensive animal to vet. Please research these costs. RED screens for rabbits just like all RED animals. Rabbits lives count as much and cost as much to care for as a dog or cat. We take the well being and lives of these wonderful creatures seriously. If you are a dedicated rabbit lover and would like a super little rabbit to join your life please apply. Email support@rescueeverydog.org for out RED rabbit application.
