My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Garnet came to us from a low-kill animal shelter that hoped we'd have an easier time placing this little 52-pound red Dobie with her mixed-bag of behaviors. On leash, she could pull a train, and she is very (negatively) reactive to other dogs she encounters on leash. We were told that in the home situation she's fine with other dogs, cats, and kids. We would actually prefer her to be the only dog because it's a safer bet for a dog who has displayed aggression when on leash. Garnet is housebroken and non-destructive, and we think she'd be a great couch potato companion for a human who enjoys the comforts of home and would enjoy an otherwise well-behaved young dog. She's about a year and nine months as of November, 2016.
