Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Rena's Story...
Her name is Rena. Stoic, regal. Rena. We first met last fall when Rena was found. From her microchip we located her family. This time they have not responded. Rena is 13 and when she arrived she was confused and frankly depressed.

Rena has a gentle spirit that is revealed with patience. She seems quiet and then her foster mom looks out the window and she is frolicking along with some of her canine friends. We imagine in her day she was quite the playful girl- now she romps along and enjoys the show. Rena wants a gentle touch but seems as if she does not know if she should ask for it. Rena needs a family that can celebrate her.

This sweet girl is a joy. She is good with other dogs and likes people.

Rena does qualify for our Senior for Senior program.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rena, a Rochester Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
