Meet one of our new females...this is Snickers!! As you can see, her face is clearly a bit different though we have no idea what caused it. Her nose just skews to the side causing her face to look a tad uneven but she really has no further abnormalities. We can only assume that it was a deformity from birth because we can see no signs of trauma. Snickers is only about 1-2 years old and she is quite the little spitfire!! She is extremely affectionate, loves people and is very playful. She would be a wonderful addition to an active home since she has the energy to go running, hiking, and exploring. Snickers has some issues with other dogs so we aren't sure if she can share a home with another dog. She can be reactive on leash and dominant with her food so a strong owner committed to training would be ideal for her because she has shown that she has some dog social skills. She is an amazing companion though and her unconventional beauty will definitely keep a smile on your face!

About Dobies and Little Paws Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit, no-kill rescue/sanctuary specializing in dobermans but also rescuing small dogs. Most of our dogs come from animal shelters before they are euthanized and are given a second chance at a new home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located on a small ranch nestled in the orchards of Fillmore, ca. We are open every saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm for open house adoptions. We can arrange weekday or sunday visits by appointment as well.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that you bring the whole family (including the four legged) so we can best match you with the right dog. Once you have found your new companion we will have you fill out a one page adoption agreement. We ask a donation of $250-$350 for a doberman and generally $150-$250 for a little dog. All dogs go home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, with a collar, ID tag, and de-wormer.
