Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When we are asked about a special rescue pup that is snuggly, sweet and very fun-loving, we can't help but think of Cotton. His smile is shining...and maybe just a bit mischievous. Cotton's rescuer was very quick to tell us that he is SO much more handsome than his photo. She said that he does have beautiful and expressive eyes (they can't be really be seen in his photo but they're dark, filled with wisdom.. and gorgeous!).
This curious and really, really smart 8 month old, 6 lb guy (anticipated to be approximately 8 or 9 lbs when full-grown) is a truly great companion. His rescuer described this gorgeous boy as just about perfect! She gave the following info about sweet Cotton:
Cotton is a pretty calm yet playful guy who really is so sweet and kind. He's a lovebug who wants nothing more than to warm your lap and to be loved! He's respectful in my house and has been very trustworthy. Cotton is great with me, my husband, our 3 kids (from 10 - 15 years old), our 2 dogs and 1 very opinionated cat.
Cotton's lucky new family will be getting a true gem! We can picture him as the best friend to retirees. He'd be so loyal.. and overjoyed to share his love and good will on a daily basis. Cotton would also do well in a family with dog-loving kids and other gentle dogs. He'd love the fun and active lifestyle...a long walk with his family would put Cotton over the moon.
There's also no question that Cotton would be the most popular guy on the block. He loves to engage and just be his entertaining, adorable self. Exercise..perhaps long, leisurely walks and mental stimulation that comes from his time with his humans is important to this guy to keep him happy and well-behaved.
We've requested that Cotton be neutered prior to his transport to Denver. We're not optimistic that this will occur due to too few vets in this industrial area of Kansas. If it doesn't, Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs for Cotton's's neuter and microchip if our Denver vet is used.
Cotton will be transported to Denver on Friday 3/31/17. Applications are being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/.
