Meet our handsome Diamond Jim!  Appropriately named Diamond Jim because he is a true DIAMOND in the rough. This beautiful liver colored dog is just  1-2 years old and from what we can see is a Lab/Heeler mix weighing  60 lbs.  He had a family but they did not want him when he became too big and playful for their liking.. He wandered on their property as a puppy and was never taught any manners on how to be a good dog.    Diamond Jim is smart and willing to learn if someone will take the time to teach!  Could that be you!???   What a head turner he will be at the dog park or on walks once you teach him the leash manners that he needs.  He gets along with other dogs and cats and has been around children with great attitude and behavior.   This is indeed a DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH boy. About Critter Cavalry Rescue New England - CT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a dedicated group of rescue volunteers who desire to find loving homes for animals who have been placed in shelters and are in grave danger of euthanasia. Our heart's desire is to provide you with a loving companion for many years to come.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
