Caroline's Story...
My name is Caroline! My fluffy tortoiseshell coat makes me the best cuddler.

I'm eager to make new friends, even strangers who walk in the door of my foster home. I'd love it if you scratched behind my ears a little!

I like to play with dangling string toys, cardboard boxes, hair ties, and catnip mice.

I was found outside of my foster mom's house last winter, pretty sick and very hungry. Even at my most sick and scared I was still the sweetest cat ever. I have some anxiety still, but overall I'm feeling much better and am ready to find my forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caroline, a St. Louis Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
