Say HELLO to our super cute Beagle Mix Halo! Weighing 27 pounds, our kindhearted set of paws is the perfect size for most households. Halo is about 2 years old and she's ready to spend the rest of her life being your committed companion. Beagles are a fun breed. Halo is anxious to give all her affections to her new human and be rewarded with a forever commitment. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Halo is friendly with other dogs, enjoys leash walks and loves car rides! ! Buy a bag of treats, and Halo has the potential to learn basic commands while bonding with her new forever person. She will lay in her crate when left alone because she feels safe and secure there. We know Halo isn't a perfect angel, but she's pretty darn close and her foster family loves her! She works hard to be a polite houseguest and enjoys people and the outside world. Well-behaved and smaller sized dogs like our Halo adopt quickly here at ITV...especially when they are learning the ropes in a foster household. Expecting that great Beagle bark??? Halo will deliver- but only if shes feeling lonely. Halo came to ITV from a bad situation where she was living outside in a pin with 14 other dogs. She does not hold grudges though, and is ready to live the rest of her life as an inside dogs showered with love from a family. Halo is busy sniffing out the best adoption application submitted at ITVRescue.org. If Halo sounds like your furry match made in heaven, don't wait long. Our inquisitive doll baby is ready to go from homeless to spoiled rotten with YOU at the end of her leash!

About It Takes A Village Canine Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

It Takes A Village Canine Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) dog rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless dogs irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, animal control, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, black dogs and other hard-to-place dogs.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are generally at Petsmart on Burkhart every Sunday and have adoption events at various locations throughout the year.

Our Adoption Process...

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $150 to $175. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.
