From the Foster: Bantam is a very snuggly dog who is happy to hang out on the couch but also loves to go on walks. He does a cute little strut when out walking in the neighborhood. He tends gravitates to a single person that he picks as his favorite. He then thinks he needs to protect that person from everyone else (humans and animals) in the home and will bark/growl at them when they approach. Its a behavior that his foster is working on (it has gotten better with time), and his adopter needs to be willing to continue to hopefully eliminate resource guarding "his" person. Due to this, Bantam would do best in a home without small children and without shared walls (apartments/townhomes) . Thankfully, he doesn't resource guard his food or toys as severely and should be easier to eliminate. Bantam likes other dogs and would do best as either the only dog or with another single dog (multiple dogs tend to get him riled up quickly with his resource guarding). Bantam can be vocal and will jump on people when he gets excited, especially when his foster first gets home for the day.
