Mommas is the softest dog you will ever pet. She is 4 years old and came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue when her owner was no longer able to care for her. We are unsure of exactly what breed she is; but our best guess is a Shih Tzu/Chihuahua/wirehair terrier mix.
She loves to play with other dogs of any size but constant puppy energy isn’t always her favorite and she will let you know with a little snip bark that she wants to be left alone now. If the dog continues she finds the closest human and tries to get picked up. She even lets other dogs come and take her toys/ eat out of her food bowl. She doesn’t chase or even care about cats. She is currently living with 2 Malamutes and a Norfolk Terrier and holds her own with all of them!
This girl loves walks and while she has gone hiking in the foothills she does get tuckered out after a few miles and then likes to be carried. She walks well on leash, is house trained, and only barks if someone knocks on the door. She doesn’t like getting in a crate on her own but she doesn’t whine once she is in it. She came into rescue with her brother and has never been an only dog so she is looking for her new family to be around to play a bunch or have a doggy friend to play with. She loves to cuddle next to you as you watch tv but she also shakes her tail every time you touch her leash.
While Mommas would be fine around kids she needs a home with no kids under 10. She would do best in a home with another fun/easy-going dog and people who are around quite a bit.
Mommas is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
Her adoption fee is $150.00.
