Leo's Story...
Hi there, I’m Leo, AKA velcro dog. I’m a 5 year old boy weighing in at 9 pounds of pure love, and the cutest under-bite ever! My foster mom says I’m the sweetest boy you will ever meet. I really love my humans and want to be near them every minute I can, there for someone who can give me lots of time and attention is the perfect fit. I also love going for car rides, lap time, and sleeping in the big bed with my human. I’m fine with other dogs but I am very laid back so a rowdy K9 companion would not work for me. I DO NOT do well in a crate so it is very important that my fur-ever home understands that and gives me run of the house like my foster family does, and since I am eally good at going potty outside that shouldn’t be a problem. Older kids are fine as long as they are respectful to me. Leo is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines, is heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, had a dental, and on a flea/tick preventative. Leo’s adoption fee is $300.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Bridgeton Pomeranian/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Pekingese for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Pomeranian/Pekingese dog from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Pekingese breeders who help with Pomeranian/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
