Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sometimes a dog will arrive from the county shelter in dire need of a trip to the groomer. Einstein had not been properly brushed or cared for, and the only recourse was to shave him. Severe matting can be extremely painful for a dog. Matting can cut off the blood supply to extremities, and deny proper air circulation. His coat must have been painful for him because after he was all spiffed up, he would still let out a little squeal when someone went to touch him or pick him up. Einstein was anticipating that it was going to hurt. Under all of the fur was a four-year-old, eight-pound, dainty Yorkshire Terrier mix. Einstein has no aggression in him; although he may let out a squeal, he allows himself to be picked up, and once he is in your arms and feels comfort and not pain, he will settle right in. Over time, Einstein will forget all about the hurts and will only know love in human arms. The adoption fee is $200 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit with our vet. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm, and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd.) in Phoenix. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays from 11:00 am-2:30 pm, and a low-cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment. Visit our website at www.homefurgood.org for more information.
