Facts about Maverick

  • Breed: Welsh Corgi Mix
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Unknown
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: ps_119380-29593

This is Maverick.  He is still very scared of new people and gets a little nippy but once he gets to know you he is fine.  He is housebroken.  He is horrible on a leash and will require work.  A harness will be necessary.

The mom was a Welsh Corgi mix - we have no clue what dad might have been.  He is a short kid and isn't very big overall. He has a beautiful coat.

He is only a little over a year old.  Unfortunately he has had very little socialization.  He does great with some of the staff around the shelter.  He will require an adult only home that will let him come around at his own pace.  He gets along great with other dogs.

We have come as far as we can with him here at the shelter - until he gets in a home he probably won't progress any further.

Our Adoption Process...

We do not charge an application fee. We do charge an adoption fee if you have applied for an animal and that application is approved. The adoption fee is payable when you pick-up your new forever pet.

The main thing we require is Love. You must be able to love the pet you are adopting, you must be able to provide the pet with a home to keep them safe and comfortable.
