Mr. Bill joined Safe Harbor through our partnership with Standardbred Retirement Foundation.  He is a 1998 big gelding, but is an absolute puppy dog in his 16.1hh body.  Mr. Bill is ridden regularly in rescue by a beginner rider, and is a perfect horse to start with or learn on.  He does not have limitations, though at 19 we would recommend shorter trail rides as the best option for him.  He is sound, happy, healthy, and he loves to do good and receive praise.

Mr. Bill’s adoption fee is $600, and he is ready for his happily ever after!  To Apply To Adopt Bill, Please CLICK HERE.

About Safe Harbor Equine and Livestock Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a dedicated team or horsemen (and horsewomen) who are seeking to fill the void for those horses that have no alternatives. Our Mission is as follows:

1) To be first responders and a resource to horses and livestock in cases of abuse and neglect. To provide those animals a safe harbor sanctuary where they will be treated with diginity and love as they prepare for new lifelong home.

2) To serve at risk and medically fragile children, as well as recovering veterans through structured equine experience opportunities.

3) To become a resource to low income families, unable to continue to care for their equine and livestock animals; providing food assistance when possible, or offering rescue rehoming services when possible.
