Rusty and Pugsy were turned in by their owner to the county shelter. Home Fur Good could not resist their charm and snatched them up. Rusty is a four-year-old Chihuahua mix, weighing eight pounds. Pugsy and Rusty are sharing a kennel at Home Fur Good, and you can see their bond, which is so strong that these two boys will need to be adopted together. They are both adjusting to the hustle and bustle of shelter life. They are quiet, and mostly watch and take in all of the activity. Both boys are fine with being picked up by strangers, and once they are out of their kennel they warm up very quickly. Rusty is the entertainer; once he feels comfortable he is a goofy and playful little guy who will encourage you to join him. The adoption fee is $200 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit with our vet. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm, and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd.) in Phoenix. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays from 11:00 am-2:30 pm, and a low-cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment. Visit our website at www.homefurgood.org for more information.
