Bridget 12 yo 5 lb and Bocci 7 yo 5 lb Maltese’s, are a bonded mother and son, who are the perfect little compact companions looking for some human love. No apron strings cut on these two, since they come as a pair and will not be adopted separately. They both have the most enchanting big dark eyes and black gumdrop noses with silky white coats. The Maltese does not shed, has no undercoat and is therefore a hypoallergenic dog. Their coat requires weekly baths, regular brushing and professional grooming every 6 weeks. Dog, cat and kid friendly! Older kids would be best, because of their tiny size. They are extremely gentle, good-natured, affectionate lap dogs that get along well with other dogs. They need work on housebreaking since they were not previously housetrained and were raised on Pee Pads with many other dogs. They are currently working on their pee pad training and must be taken physically out to go potty, but any potential adopter must be willing to put in the time, effort and patience these little ones will need to learn how to be potty trained. Someone who is home most of the day would be ideal. They are lively enough in the home that they only need a small yard and little walks. They’re both very affectionate and love to cuddle together and with their people. Bocci need’s a total dog loving family, since he senses when they’re not where he barks and tries to bite at their heels.
Bridget and Bocci were surrender with multiple other dogs when their past person got sick and couldn’t care for them anymore. They are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Apply at www.tprescue.org Currently fostered in Florence, NJ
