Facts about Sonic

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Or Chocolate (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Sonic is a young and handsome little guy, full of personality. His bright white coat contrasts beautifully against his dark brown tabby patches. He has a lot of character and can be a fiesty creature sometimes. For this reason, Sonic needs an adult only home. Sonic needs to be the only cat in the home because he likes to hog all the attention and affection and doesn't share well with others. He loves to play with cat toys and sparkly balls and noisey balls are his favorite. He likes to climb on the cat tree in the room he is staying in. He keeps a clean crate and really likes lounging around on cat beds.

All Pets & People cats and kittens - $85.00. This includes microchip, vaccinations, worming, feleuk check, and spay/neuter.
All cats three months or older have already been spayed or neutered. Kittens come with a free Spay/Neuter Certificate to be used when old enough to be "fixed".
We offer a 7-day foster adopt program. Take any pet home for up to 7 days and if it doesn't work out, receive a full refund of the adoption fee. Up to 30 days, the pet may be exchanged at no additional cost at the adoption counselor's discretion.
HELP!!!!! We need canned cat food. Preferably Whiskas ground chicken but we will take any type.

About Pets & People Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Pets & People is a volunteer based organization that concentrates on rescuing dogs and cats from area municipal shelter"s "death row". All of these pets are tested for certain diseases, vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered, given preventative medication and sheltered until forever homes can be found. We primarily rescue from rural shelters in central Oklahoma but have been know to travel hours to rescue pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter is open to the public from noon to 5:30, seven days a week. We are open on major holidays by appointment only. The address of our shelter is 701 Inla Ave, Yukon, Oklahoma.

Our Adoption Process...

Potential adopters will be required to fill out an initial questionnaire and to answer follow up questions. Veterinary references will be checked as well as home checks as necessary. We do not transport our pets to adopters. We like to have our adopters meet our pets and for us to meet them and their families. Our goal it to match our pets with appropriate homes.
