Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Eve is truly the sweetest dog we have ever met! At a perfect 40 pounds, one year old Eve is happiest when being cuddled or having her tummy rubbed. She will roll onto her back if she thinks there is even a chance you might rub her belly. She'll put her head on your knee or gently lick your hand in the hopes that you'll pet her and if we are petting our other dog she tries to get in the middle so she can have attention as well. She is only a year old so has lots of energy and she loves going outside for walks. She's a really fun dog, as she loves being outside. She loves meeting and chasing other dogs in the dog park. We have taken her on a few runs, which was fun and think she'd be great on hikes or on nature adventures. She is extremely relaxed at home - goes to sleep almost immediately after walks and sleeps through the night. She is adjusting to the sites and sounds of NYC. She is great at home and noises outside/in the hall don't seem to bother her.
Eve knows her name and the command sit. She travels great in the car and will gently lie her head in your lap and sleep. She is learning to walk well on a leash and has made improvement. She very much likes to please her human and is housetrained! Eve is currently bring fostered with a 10 year old pekinese mix (Max) that she gets along well with. They don't play together necessarily, as Eve has much more energy than the little old man, but they happily co-exist.
She is very excited to go on walks and enjoys meeting each and every dog on the street. Eve LOVES the dog park. Her favorite game is tag with the other dogs! Energy wise, Eve is a mix! She is energetic on walks; loves racing around after other dogs in the dog park. She would be a great runny budding and would likely love to go hiking/on adventures in nature where she could be active in a quieter environment. Once she gets home she chills right out and falls asleep pretty immediately.
Eve is at her happiest when being cuddled and can't seem to get enough. If we let her crawl into our laps or sit on the couch she is to be the happiest she has ever been in her whole life and groans with joy. If we are petting our other dog she tries to nudge in so she can get attention too. She nuzzles into your neck to get as close as possible and if she comes into the room where you are sitting she might put a paw gently on your knee to try to get some cuddling attention.
