My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Susie is an energetic ball of fun! She was surrendered to Circle of Hope by her owners because she chased their livestock.

Susie's mom was a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. Her original owners believe her dad was a local Boxer boy that often wandered the area. Whatever her parentage, Susie loves people and other dogs! She's also very food motivated - while taking pictures of her, she thought she was going to get treats, and kept sitting pretty, just waiting. It was challenging even getting her to stand up for a body shot!

Susie's size and enthusiasm may cause her to knock small children over, so a family with older children would be perfect for her!

Susie will become what new owners mold her into. She's sweet, loving, happy, and eager to learn. She does need to be taught and trained, but will be an awesome family pet in an active family!
