Sadie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Sadie's Story...
Sadie is beautiful, sweet, and she loves to cuddle. She will want to sleep with you and join you on the sofa for an evening of snuggling and watching TV. She has a typical GSP prey drive so a securely fenced yard is a must. She is around 5 years old, but still has lots of energy and playfulness.

All of our dogs are fostered in our homes so we know their temperaments. They are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots, de-wormed, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary), and on flea and heartworm prevention. Our adoption fee begins at $165.00 for all of our dogs and puppies. Our goal is to match our animals to the best home possible. Please email info@cofas.org for more information. You can also fill out an application at www.cofas.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Greensboro German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
