Timber
Timber was born October 9 2016. He is a gentle giant with a big heart. He has beautiful blue eyes and a amazing thick soft coat. Timber is fixed and fully up to date on his vaccines and was dewormed recently. He loves to run and play and cannot wait till it snows to pull a sled or if snow is out of the question he loves going with a 4-wheeler. He is harness broke to pull a sled and has done so many times. Timber is an execellent eater and is not picky at all. He loves anything I put infront of him. His favorite summer treat is ice cubes with a little piece of meat frozen in the middle. Timber isn’t a big barker unless a racoon is up in the tree beside his dog house. Sometimes he will talk back to the wolves every now and then if they are close behind our house but nothing much. Timber was raised with 2 kids ages 5 and 7 and is amazing with them. The kids have had there hands in his mouth and his food bowl when eating and never once had a problem nor id he care. He loves kids. He has also been around many other peoples children and I have never had any problems and he has loved them too. He’s a bit a show boat. Timber is great with other dogs and has shown no aggression. He has ran on sled dog teams consisting of 4, 6, and 8 other dogs and runs well with no issues or “sharking” at other dogs. He has ran lead before but in my opion he is best middle or running wheel. He is very strong and fast. Timber knows the commands, “Lets Go”, “Gee”, “Haw”, “On By” and “Off” pretty well. He may need a reminder or refresher from time to time but he’s been good with us. Timber is use to going in a crate to travel to races and we have had no issues at all and he has even road in the truck back seat before to and from the vet. Timber does not like water at all but seems to love everything else in life.

He is amazing with people and young chidren. At such a young age his drive and desire to run and pull a sled is something to be seen. He has a very fun personality and is a wonderful dog.
He is still currently with the owner. He comes with come with his custom made dog house, water bowl, food dish, chain, collar, 1 month supply of dog food to help with the transition and whatever straw the new owner would like. The owner can deliver him. We are located in Prince Edward County. You can contact me at melissalbp31@gmail.com or 613-827-8910.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adoption Pending!!!! Timber, a Tweed Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Tweed, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Tweed.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tweed already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tweed breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tweed paves the way for another one to be saved.
