Maryann's Story...
This is the crew from Gilligan's Island. They are Lab/Pit mixes which I call Pit-A-Dors. Anyone who knows anything about this combination of breeds knows that this is the most incredible mix there is for temperament. These poor sweet babies were found by a hunter literally out in the middle of nowhere. They were covered in mange and obviously their owner didn't want to be bothered by taking them to get treated so they dumped them out in no man's land to starve to death. Well, they are hardly hungry or starved as you can see by the pics! Their mange is cured and they are all spayed, neutered, up to date on all of their vaccines and ready to go to their forever homes. The vet has estimated their birthday to be 11/21/16. Wouldn't you just enjoy having one of these little precious ones in your home!

ADOPTION FEE $500

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maryann, a Newark Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Newark, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Newark.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newark already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newark breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newark paves the way for another one to be saved.
