My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leo is a very sweet terrier mix who is about 3 years old and weighs around 14 pounds. He gets along well with other small dogs and with cats. Leo loves to go on daily walks and exploring new places. He also enjoys riding in the car. Naps and laying on a soft blanket on the couch by his person are also favorite things for him. His favorite game is hide and seek. Leo would do best in an adult only household or one with older respectful children years and older as younger children make him nervous.

(An adoption donation of $300 is required.) If you are interested in adopting this dog, please contact CHEW Dog Rescue at pawsontherun@gmail.com and request and application form. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
