Tuck's Story...
TUCK is a gorgeous young chocolate-point Siamese mix male kitty about 1 to 2 years old. He was originally named "Lucky" because he is one fortunate fellow. He was hit by a car in Creswell and the driver just drove away, leaving him in the middle of the road. A kind person quickly pulled over, scooped him up, and took him to a cat rescue person. "Lucky" turned out to be just stunned from the impact of the car, but had no injuries. The foster mom had him neutered and tried to find his owner, but to no avail. Now renamed "Tuck", he is a super affectionate, high energy and boisterous young adult male kitty. He loves to give hugs and kisses to his humans. He has been fine hanging out with non-aggressive female cats, but he can be territorial with other male cats. He LOVES humans and will likely do fine with cat-savvy dogs and children. Like many Siamese cats, Tuck wants to be involved in whatever you are doing and be a "helper" cat. He has a tremendous amount of love to give to his new forever person/family. He is a wonderful cat with a lot of sparkling personality to add to your household! His adoption fee is $75, which is strictly to help cover our costs. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, deflead and dewormed and comes with a free vet visit. Tuck is currently in the cat room at the Petsmart on Coburg Rd (across from Costco). For more info, please call Beth at (541) 255-9296.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tuck, a Springfield Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
