Sasha's Story...
SASHA is a sweet and fluffy little black female kitten with cute little white tufts coming out of her ears. This little girl loves nothing more than attention. She was found abandoned as a 2-week old baby, the only one in her litter to survive. She was raised as a bottle baby in a foster home with many other kittens, dogs, and kids, so she was highly socialized with other animals and with humans! Sasha has lots of energy and can play all day with her toys and with other kittens, but she also adores being cuddled by her humans. She is very vocal and tends to get lonely, so she would do best in a home with another kitten or playful dog -- and also where she gets lots of attention and won't be left alone for long periods of time. Her adoption fee is $110 ($200 for 2 kittens), which is to help cover our costs; she is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, deflead and dewormed and comes with a free vet visit. Sasha is currently in the cat room at the Petsmart on Coburg Rd (across from Costco). For more info, please call Beth at (541) 255-9296

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Springfield Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
