Quicksilver's Story...
My name is QUICKSILVER and I am a gorgeous, fluffy little gray and white tuxedo male kitten with very faint tabby markings. My fur is very soft and beautiful, but don’t let that fool you….I am a bouncy, energetic little boy kitten! I also love to snuggle, purr, and play with mice toys. I get along with every kitty that has come into my foster home and I adore cuddling with my sister QPaw. My family also has a female dog that I get along great with. My foster moms have a five-year-old neighbor who comes by and plays with all of us so that we get used to kids. He is so sweet to us, and if any one of us is too shy, he pays special attention to ensure that we conquer our fears. I came to my foster home with my 6 siblings. We were less than a week old and were raised as bottle babies -- so I am very attached to humans. I adore my sister QPaw, and it's pretty important that I have another kitten or playful young animal in my new home to pal around with. QUICKSILVER'S adoption fee is $110 ($180 for Quicksilver and QPaw together), which is strictly to help cover our costs. He has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (he is negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed—plus you get a free vet visit. He is currently in the cat room at Petsmart on Coburg Rd (across from Costco). For more info, call Beth at (541) 255-9296.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quicksilver, a Springfield Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
