Nell's Story...
Hi there, I’m Nell. If you could give me a place to call home, that would be real swell. I’m a touch shy, but with patience and love I’ll come right out of my shell. I’m real best-friend material, attentive and eager to please…the type of girl you can share all your secrets with—I promise I won’t tell! I get along great with other dogs and respectful children 5+; even cats and I gel. My crate training is top notch, but there will be plenty of other things I’ll need you to teach me—I’m a quick learner, though, so no need to dwell. I just know that when you meet me you’ll fall in love; it’ll happen so quickly you won’t even realize you fell! 1 year old-45lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes microchip & registration, spay, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nell, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
