Hi my name is Leela :) I was pulled from a high-kill shelter while pregnant last year; I recently found my way back to Healing Hearts by no fault of my own. I am timid at first but don't take long to warm up to you. I get along really well the children in my foster home! I seem to prefer adult women more than adult men. I get along well with other calm dogs but would probably prefer to be an only dog as I want all the attention to myself. I have lived with cats and done well with them too! I love to both play and cuddle - I am house trained and really good indoors. I know sit and walk well on a leash, but need some reinforcement. I absolutely love car rides! I would prefer an experienced dog owner who can remind me that the world is not a scary place and help me grow some more confidence :)
PLEASE NOTE: HHARG does not have a shelter or other physical location. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes.
