Jackson's Story...
Hi, I am Jackson and I am about ten months old male pup and full of energy. My rescue family tells me they don't know exactly what I am, but I sure am cute with my big ears and my beautiful eyes. I like to follow the rescue lady from room to room and lay by her feet when she works so she can pet me when she takes a break. I LOVE to be petted. I am working very hard on always sitting to be petted so I remember not to jump up. I feel like I am living in a world of giants around here, so sometimes I forget and jump up to get attention! I really like it here, but I would like to have a family of my own and maybe a very active boy or girl to play with too. I love to play and fetch balls and sticks. So call please! I am awfully cute right?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Guthrie Husky/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Guthrie, or seeking a Husky/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Guthrie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Guthrie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Guthrie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Husky/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Guthrie paves the way for another one to be saved.
