Do you know what a "Hemingway" cat is? We do! We even have one! Meet Mitsey, our resident polydactyl kitty. ❤ She has lots of extra toes! So cool! Legend has it that Ernest Hemingway was given a white six-toed cat by a ship's captain when he was in Key West and there are many descendants of that original cat, named Snow White. And so, polydactyl cats are nicknamed Hemingways. Would you like one of your very own? You could adopt Mitsey! All of our kitties are well socialized and fully vetted prior to adoption. Please call us at FLR, 865-660-7582 to set up an appointment to meet our adoptables! Feline Lifeline Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit rescue organization in Kingston, TN.

About Feline Lifeline Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We work with local municipal shelters to eliminate shelter killing. We help the cats that need more time or medical or behavioral care before adoption.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are happy to schedule an appointment Monday-Saturday, 10am-7pm. Call 865-660-7582 for appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an application for adoption that includes a vet reference, personal references. Once approved, we complete a home visit and assist with introducing the new pet to any existing pets. We also do a follow-up check-in within a few days to make sure everything is going well. It is in our contract that any dogs returned have to come back to our organization.
