Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When I first started fostering Frogger I thought why would anyone name a 10 month old, 35 lb, female Terrier mix "Frogger" I learned very quickly why! I would consider Frogger to be a very high energy dog. She will need a family that can work with her energy and teach her some good manners.
Frogger doesn't just run and play with her human and canine friends, but rather she jumps everywhere on all 4 legs at once not unlike a frog would. Not only does she jump and play like a frog but when she is really excited she has a very peculiar sound that she makes. I would not call it a "bark", which she does have a normal bark just like dogs, but rather more like a "croak" sound.
Frogger is very friendly and gets along well with other dogs, however she is in constant play mode even when the other dogs are done she will still keep on going. Frogger absolutely loves to play in the water! We have a small plastic pond and small kiddie pool in the back yard and she jumps and plays in both daily. She also climbed the stair ladder to our deck/pool and when the kids were in the pool she jumped right in without hesitation.
We are working with Frogger on some manners like not jumping on people and she will need a family that is willing to continue that work. I would recommend some local puppy training in her future, she is very smart and has learned a lot already. Frogger is crate trained. Frogger does very well with her potty training and only as an accident from time to time in her crate, in the house she does great.
Frogger does not chew things she is not supposed to, however she does have a shoe fetish, she likes to steal them and carry them around with her. Frogger will entertain herself whether in the crate or outside, or in the house she loves to find a rope or rawhide and throw it around and play with it.
Frogger has been full vaccinated, spayed, and micro chipped. If you would like to meet Frogger please contact (texting is great) Linda at 630-337-4185. Her adoption fee is $200.
