Franklin is approx. 3 years. old, about 46 lbs., vetted, neutered, and micro-chipped. Franklin gets along with other dogs, has low to medium energy, is potty trained, and is crate trained. Franklin would love to be in a home where he can run free outside to get fun exercise. But most important, Franklin needs someone who will love him and snuggle him. likes to go for car rides, and to snuggle. He knows Sit, Stay, Come. and is working on Paw. Franklin loves loves loves his toys! And anything he can chew. He loves playing ball - only with himself haha - if you throw the ball he doesn’t bring it back, but he chases it himself all the time. No cats; he likes to chase small animals. He’s the sweetest dog and loves to be loved!

Disclosure: Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance! Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
