My name is Kekoa...which means warrior. I am about 3 years old, neutered male and a whopping 5 pounds. I am very happy and love attention. I like to be held and cuddled when I want to sleep. I love chew bones, they are probably my favorite thing but I do enjoy playing with my toys too. I walk very well on a leash and am learning to enjoy car rides. I did come from a some things are new to me and my foster mom is working with me to get better at potty training and chasing cats. I get along with other dogs, big or small...I tend to think I can boss them around. I haven't had much interaction or experience with kids yet.

About Angels for Animals - Rancho Cucamonga Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

RESCUE is the last voice for dogs and cats who, through no fault of their own, find themselves awaiting death at local shelters. Angels for Animals is a California 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter. All of the dogs we rescue are in loving foster homes where they are rehabilitated, socialized and receive all of the medical treatment they need so they can be placed in their forever home.

We consider any animal that’s passed its “due out date” to be at risk for euthanasia at any time. We work with shelters and volunteers to pull the animal and get them into a foster home and ready for adoption as soon as possible. Since we don’t operate an actual shelter we rely on foster homes to help save these at risk animals.
After pulling an animal we transport them to their new foster home and start the process of getting them ready for adoption. All animals will be spayed/neutered, brought UTD (up to date) on all of their shots, and microchiped. A adoption fee is required to help replace the funds spent on rescuing each dog and getting him or her ready for adoption.
