Oakley's Story...
Hello this is Ray Ban and Oakley, a bonded pair who had been abandoned so they are very under socialized and need to be handled regularly. They do not like being picked up at all and this just means that they need to get used to it in a positive manner. They do enjoy fresh veggies but it is very obvious that they are not used to them. Guinea Pigs need timothy hay everyday and should get fresh veggies daily as well. If you thinks that you have the time to socialize a couple of guinea pigs, just ask the front for an application and they can possibly go home with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oakley, a Bellingham Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
