Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beethoven is a extra large, adult, male, neutered Akita that comes to us from a rural shelter in GA. This big southern boy has never met a stranger! He will meet you just like he has known you forever, no kidding! Beethoven is housebroken, knows some basic commands, leash trained and we feel would do best in a home with a large, confident, adult female. Beethoven did spend time in foster care and lived for a while with a large adult female Akita who ruled his world!
Beethoven does have a prey drive so it best he not go to a home with small animals. This big guy is active, obedient, friendly, and would love a family that could toss his toys and go for long walks with him. Beethoven is neutered, current on shots, chipped, heart worm positive and on treatment, and fecal negative. Beethoven can go to a home with children age ten and over. We would say he would do great with children of all ages except due to his large size and him not realizing how big he is, he could knock a small child down...big goof!
