Meet Buddy!

 
Buddy is a Blue Merle Male Australian Shepherd around 7 years old weighing 47lbs.
 
Buddy came into the rescue as a bonded trio, with his daughter and another female Australian Shepherd (they will be listed soon!). He was shy and timid at first but has amazed us with his growing confidence and training!
 
Buddy is soaking up the attention from his foster parents and enjoys the company of his foster sister. Buddy will give paw, do high five, sit on command and has excellent recall. He loves his training time for he is treat motivated! Buddy can't wait to see what new tricks you have in store for him.
 
Buddy loves his naps in the warm sunlight and would be an excellent companion for a couple wanting a laid back Aussie.
 
Buddy is fully house-trained, he is not destructive and therefore he does not need a crate.
 
This sweetheart has not been exposed to cats, so we can not comment on his temperament.
 
Buddy has recently had a dental so his pearly whites and fresh breath are making him feel better than ever!
 
He is up to date on his vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper). Buddy has been fecal tested (negative), heartworm tested (negative), Lyme disease tested (negative) and he is micro-chipped.
Buddy takes monthly preventives of Heartgard and Frontline.
 
He is being fostered in the St.Louis, Missouri area.
