Meet Max! Max is a 9-year-old male Yorkie-Poo He's a small guy at 11 pounds. Max is a lovebug and a very sweet little guy.  His previous owner ran into health problems so we're hoping to find him a new home soon where he will be loved and pampered like he deserves.

Max is housetrained and very friendly. He enjoys walks and does fine on car rides.

Max is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.

We want to provide as much information about our foster dogs, but sometimes it’s hard to do in the simple dog biography listed above.  CHR will list the  I deal Home   section to help applicants better understand what the rescue and foster parents are looking for this particular rescue dog’s future home.  Please, take a minute to read the Ideal Home section .

About Caring Hearts Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Caring Hearts Rescue is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization based in Fairfax Virginia. Our volunteers rescue toy breed dogs from desperate situations including neglect, puppy mill rescue, owner surrender and euthanasia by animal shelters due to overpopulation. All of our rescued dogs stay in safe foster homes while they await their "forever home." Our rescued babies are examined and given inoculations and spayed or neutered before placement. We search for families that understand the responsibility of being a Guardian to these little guys and consider them members of the family.

Come Meet Our Pets...

CHR facilitates all the meetings with your rescued dog. Potential adopters will make arrangements with a CHR representative to meet your foster dog. We then contact the foster parent to arrange a meeting at a convenient location for the foster parent.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step is filling out a application at the following address http://www.caringheartsrescue.org/Adopt.html . Click on the apply button under the dog you are interested in.

If you have pets, you will be required to provide medical records for your current pets as proof that they are up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered and on heart worm preventative. We will contact you after this first step is completed. Thank you very much for your time!
