My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sarah is an affectionate, sociable girl of about 5 years of age. She is so very loving and gentle. She has a low energy level and a calm temperament. She is crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. She's sociable with other dogs. Sarah was adopted before, unfortunately her adopted passed away due to illness and Sarah fell into the care of her adopter's sister who gave her to a vet tech. We picked her up from the OC Animal Shelter - she was scared, skin and bones. It's taken a while but Sarah is back to a healthy weight and she has her personality back.

If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Upon receipt AND approval, the dog you are interested in meeting will be made available to meet on a Saturday. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent. Please understand that private appointments will be coordinated to meet the convenience of the foster parent/transporter. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, core vaccinations (rabies and 2 sets of distemper/parvo), fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
