Brooklyn, NY - BEN (formerly known as "Ven" ), is a 2 year old 48 lb. Pit Bull Mix rescued from the NYCACC shelter by AmsterDog in 2017, with a gorgeous latte coat and movie star good looks. Ben has so many good qualities that will make him a wonderful addition to a family now that his training is successfully completed. He is intelligent, calm, walks well on the leash, and even does well with other dogs. He has shown himself to be very affectionate, loving and loyal. But let's hear what Ben has to say: To my new family! Intelligent male seeks comfy lap to lay on. I love sun bathing and sharing your space, but not in a clingy way. If I had to describe my perfect day, it'd be spending it with you, doing whatever you want. I'm pretty versatile. Need some space? No problem! I'll lay in the corner. Want me on the sofa next to you? Why didn't you ask sooner? I love belly rubs and bum scratches. I mean, who doesn't, right? Jogging partner or couch potato partner, I got it covered. Want a companion? Right here... Hello? This guy! I get along great with other animals although I'm not entirely sure how I feel about cats. What are they, again? I hope you like playing tug or fetch. I walk well, and run great. If you enjoy a good hike, I can keep up. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. I have some needs too. My perfect owner must be firm and fair to keep me honest and hold me accountable. Also, please don't rush the relationship. Gimme time to warm up to you and your family. Your patience and understanding will be rewarded.
