Zoe's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Zoe's Story...
Meet Zoe! Zoe, along with 11 other cats, came to us this past January from an hoarding situation.
Shortly after coming into rescue, Zoe gave birth to 4 beautiful babies. She's been being a very good momma for the past 7 weeks but her babies have all gone on to their furever homes. Now it is Zoe's turn for her happily ever after!
Zoe would prefer to be the only cat in her home. We do not know how she is with dogs. We can tell you is she is a sweet girl that is ready to be the absolute center of attention. In her short 3 years of life, she has had 5 litters. Her baby making days are over now, though, as she has been spayed and ready to start her kitten free life with a family that adores her.
If you think you'd be interested in this beautiful girl you can fill out an application at www.pawzandpurrz.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a Painted Post Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Painted Post, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Painted Post.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Painted Post already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Painted Post breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Painted Post paves the way for another one to be saved.
