Dolores is a Boxer and Hound mix girl that was born in February 2016 and weighs 39 pounds.

Dolores was initially a shy and timid girl, desperately needing some confidence. She has flourished in playgroups with our other dogs and would ideally be suited to find a home where she has a companion dog. Dolores loves to play fetch with a tennis ball and will bring it back to you for you to throw again and again. She easily bonds with people she gets to know and loves hiking with our volunteer dog walking group.

The adoption fee is $90 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for heartworms & heartworm preventative medication, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.

About Pet Placement Center

About Our Shelter...

The Pet Placement Center not only saves animals to adopt to good homes, but also works with local rescuers to assist with the trap-neuter-release of feral cat colonies. We also provide pet food, litter, and other supplies for low income pet owners & other rescue organizations in need.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 PM.
The shelter is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adoptions are carefully screened by submitting an application for approval. This is to ensure proper placement of each of our animals in a permanent home.

The adoption fee includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, FELV/FIV test (cats), heartworm test & preventative (dogs), flea preventative, dewormer, microchip, & spay or neuter.

All animals are spayed/neutered before being placed up for adoption.
