WOW! This guy is gorgeous and pictures do not do him justice. You need to meet him in person! This big strong boy comes into rescue after getting into trouble running loose with another dog. Things did not end well, which sadlyl landed Malikai temporarily in an unfortunate incarcerated situation. Malikai loves all people of all ages. He is social and friendly. However, he also knows how big and strong he is and he will use his strength to his advantage. He will need a breed-experienced home, with a strong owner who can handle him. Malikai will also need to be an only pet. He would do best in a home with a secure 6-foot tall fence. We have some awesome volunteers who have worked with this boy and he is now able to walk well on leash and not be reactive to small critters, however his prey drive is very high.
