My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES PANZER INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Panzer is a very pretty female German Shepherd mix who is almost 2 yr. old. Her birthday is July 1. Panzer was saved by a caring IDGSR volunteer from a family who didn't want her anymore and never gave her any love or attention. She is now in a loving foster home and here is her story as told to her foster mom:

"I am shy at first and then I want nothing but lovings and I give lots in return. I did not have the best of homes the first time around, the mean ole man of the house was very mean to me and heavy handed. My foster momma was told that I was scared of men but I'm not, not really. I like to follow my foster daddy and 2 legged brother around and I even sleep with them sometimes. Sudden, quick movements scare me though and I go the opposite way of a broom when you are sweeping. I am such a good girl, I don't potty in the house, I also don't mind my crate. It would probably be best if I have my own personal space to eat though because I can sometimes be fussy over my food to other dogs. It has also taken me some time but, I am learning how to play with other dogs and I think it is kinda fun. I get along well with other dogs but, it is obvious I have never had the chance to play before. I don't care to share my toys, but again, I am learning. Tell they tell you that I LOVE BALLS❤️? Well, I really do love them so, I must have a couple or 3. Do you have cats? I like to follow those little furries around and I will try to lick them but they don't seem to like that. I can sit like a good girl especially, for treats and I am learning how to stay but, I still need to work in it some more. I do like to jump so, my foster momma is trying to teach me some manners too. Kids 8 yrs old or older may be best for me since I do like to jump. I'm not that big of a girl - 52 lbs but I could knock over a small child by accident. Did my foster parents tell you how sweet I am? I love to lay in their lap even though they tell me I am too big to be a lap puppy. That's funny because I don't think you can ever be too big to be a lap puppy. And I will always let you know when someone comes to the house."

Panzer is a sweet girl who is learning about how good life can be for the first time. She has a lot of love to give and is ready to find a family of her own to love.

If you would like to make Panzer a part of your family, please copy the link and fill out an application.
