Waldo's Story...
Where’s Waldo? Waldo’s at Cedar Farm. Unlike his more famous namesake, our Waldo always stands out in a crowd. Just look for dogs playing and there he is. He is only one year old but he acts older and more refined than his somewhat older brothers and sisters here at the farm. He has a noble nose and a strong, lithe body. Ready to play or ready to snooze, he’s ready for it all. At 43 pounds, he might add a few pounds in the next year but he is pretty close to his proper weight and height. He is heartworm negative, microchipped, properly vaccinated, crate and leash trained. Walking or playing, snoozing or schmoozing, Waldo is your guy! So if you want to find Waldo, go to our website, fill out the adoption application and then give us a call @ 336-251-8877 to setup a meeting with Waldo. He isn’t hiding out at Cedar Farm. He’s waiting patiently for you to find him! 04014

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waldo, a Mocksville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
