My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tater Tot is so sweet that he’s not just a little bit of honey he’s the whole pot!! Our sweet boy has not had it so easy. Tater Tot was found tied out on a chain (with yard mates Edith, Mildred and Ike) like many dogs from dog fighters, which is what his "owner" was charged with. Life on a chain with no positive human or dog interactions for years. He can be nervous meeting new people, but with a little time and some butt scratches he has made many human friends and even a few female doggy friends! It is wonderful to watch him play with another dog knowing the future that he was destined for before the police rescued him. Tater Tot has a lot to learn about this big world, but we think he’s getting a great start at learning to trust other people and dogs and just needs to find his forever family.
