Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This litter of chubby, happy puppies came to us after a community outreach we did. Mom was living on a chain and the pups were only about a week old, living outside with her also. It was very cold and we knew the pups would never survive out there. We talked the guardian into letting us have the pups and mom. Once the pups were old enough to be weaned we put them in our jail dog program. The jail dog program, called "PADDLE -- Prisoners and Dogs Developing Life Experiences" pairs female trustees with a puppy that they raise and care for while we do the vetting and find them their forever homes. The pups live with the trustees in their "pod" and in their cell with them. The great thing is the pups leave there incredibly social and well adjusted and having been exposed to lots of different people.
This litter is about 9 weeks old and so, so sweet! They love to snuggle and play and are just happy to be with people. We do not know what dad was but we were told there was a stray Border Collie that they believe to be the dad. Mom is a Weimaraner/American Pitbull Terrier mix. All of the puppies have beautiful green or blue eyes.
The pups are being fostered in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized.
