Harlow's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Harlow's Story...
So another head scratcher litter....a standard size Airedale Terrier mom (purebred) and the pups are built tiny and long like Dachshunds! Super cute for sure but, wow, what a funny combo!

These pups are 8 weeks old (born 2/4/17) and are weighing in at 3 pounds currently. They are so adorable and sweet and love to be held and loved on. They are playing great with their toys and are using puppy pads. They are fine with other dogs, cats and kids.

These pups are in foster care in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add one of these cuties to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harlow, a Southington Airedale Terrier/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Airedale Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Southington, or seeking a Airedale Terrier/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Airedale Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Airedale Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
