My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mae is a very timid girl who we believe was kicked in the head by a horse prior to her coming to B.A.R.C. She is recuperating in her foster home in Ludowicci, GA with Angie and Nick. Thankfully, this injury is her only medical issue - Mae is heartworm negative and has aready been spayed. Her head is healing really well. She is starting to come out of her shell and is learning how to play with toys, at first she had no idea what to do with them. Mae is a lover, she will do anything to get onto the couch and lay with you even if the couch has reached maximum capacity. She should be fine going to a home with feline friends. Mae is starting to learn some house manners and is really good in the crate. Each day she is getting better and better walking on the leash. Mae already weighs 54 pounds and should probably gain another 15 before she is at her ideal weight. Mae still needs basic obedience training, but is making really good progress.
